NOT SO LITTLE WHITE DRESS
When it comes to styling, the little black dress or simply put ‘LBD’ has always been a wardrobe staple. Although I can’t deny the reliability of the LBD (I mean, it will always be a timeless classic in my wardrobe), I often feel like the little white dress- LWD gets lost in its shadows.
Following my recent spring cleaning, I realized I was in need of a white dress. My desired piece had to have the right balance between simplicity, structure and flattering without doing too much. Glad to say I found it all in this Masimmo Dutti number.
Naturally, I gravitate towards simplicity, to keep things monochrome. But I also think the drama lies in the details. I absolutely love the minimal gold buttons the dress & the tassel detailing on the tan sandals. In their own little way, they add the right amount of elegance to the outfit.
Accessories (my preference here being gold jewellery pieces) brings the outfit together. It adds just the right amount of detail to give the outfit some character. I love the contrast of the starlight choker against a small dainty gold necklace – the red pendant makes quite the impression. My choice of drop earrings and stacked rings equally add beautiful accents to the outfit.
The beauty of a white dress I find, is in its versatility. I see this dress transitioning from brunch on a summer afternoon to drinks on the patio at night.
Either way, it’s guaranteed to give off serious chic vibes.

This looks amazing on you! Wish I could pull off something like this, but I prefer the slimming dark colors. :/
