HOW TO: STYLE KHAKI PANTS
In my earlier post, I talked about reducing my wardrobe to the essentials. In my quest to do that, I found this high waisted khaki pants from Zara’s Spring Collection sitting at the back of my wardrobe, unworn. Truth is, I forgot I owned it.
After fighting the battle of “toss or keep” for about 30 minutes, I realized it is a versatile piece that I completely overlooked. It offers a good balance between casual and formal, classic, yet contemporary, casual, yet chic. Oh, the benefits of a well-tailored pair of khaki pants. Khaki is easily pair-able with a variety of colours, tones and textures thereby making the possible outfit combinations, endless.
For this post, I paired it with a white button down shirt, black thigh high boots, a cross-body bag and threw over my favourite camel trench coat. Who doesn’t love a good ol’ pairing of brown and khaki in the fall season?
