FAVOURITE OUTFITS FROM INSTAGRAM II

I love sharing my daily outfits on Instagram because it’s quick, easy and on the go. I love that I’m able to influence someone’s choice of outfit in between bus runs and unscheduled coffee meetings. However, I hate that with Instagram, there is no direct shop-able option just yet, as I get tons of questions in my DM’s and the comment section asking where specific items are from. ( I read an article saying this feature will be added soon, fingers crossed).

I’ve decided to commit to one “Instagram Outfits” post a month, where I do a round up of our (you & I) favourite outfits and share details on where to shop them. I’ll be sure to source out alternatives within the price range of $10-$50 and from easily accessible websites to make it easier for everyone!

That being said, here’s a round up of this month’s Instagram outfits. Please leave a comment below if you like the post or have any questions :)

The weather in Toronto has become so pleasant these past few days that I felt it right to bring out the culottes and play with some pastels.  I had a quick meeting at the cutest coffee shop the other day and my outfit fit right into the aesthetics. I’ve had this Zara pair of culottes since Summer ’15 so it was difficult to find an exact alternative but this Asos pleated pair comes really close. Instagram Outfits II | The Alma Chronicle

Faux suede jackets are an essential for layering in the winter & spring seasons. I snatched this pair on sale at $30 from Forever 21 and I’ve never been more happy about a new buy.  You can find the exact one here or an alternative from Charlotte Russe for $25 here

I couldn’t resist this pair for a brunch afternoon with my girls. Basics are a very essential part of my wardrobe and I currently can’t keep track of the amount of white t-shirts I own. Both top and bottom are from Zara (similar here), and my favourite white Nike sneakers, here

I chose to go with a monochromatic outfit on this day, which is my safe zone when I need extra confidence to go through the activities of the day. I love a good oversize sweater like this turtle neck tunic from Uniqlo here and  a good belt to bring some definition into the outfit. My pants are from Calvin Klein but this is a close alternative here Instagram Outfits II | The Alma Chronicle

This was a quick put together for an interview and a workwear inspiration for the days you’re in doubt.

As the month goes on, I’ll be sure to keep this post updated. So, if you need to find details for any of my Instagram Outfits, this is your reference.

Please let me know in the comment section if this post was helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment too!

Till next time,
